Pentagram Found Under The Bed

Found a Pentagram Under My Bed

So this morning I was cleaning underneath my bed, trying to vacuum all of the dust, and I happened to notice a Pentagram etched into the floor with a knife. The pentagram was rather big, measuring with a 3 foot diameter, and it is right side up with the top most star where my head would be when I sleep.

I asked my mother about it (who does not live with me) and she did not know anything about it. I asked my friends, and they don’t know anything about it either. I even asked my coven members, who I would assume would never do this without my permission (so I was embarrassed to have to ask at all), and they also denied it. Obviously somebody is lying as pentagrams do not just materialize underneath your bed in the middle of the night. Granted this could’ve been done in the day, I would not know… But I do know that it wasn’t there 4 days ago. The only people who have been in my home since then I feel would never have done it, which is really disturbing… Because it means somebody had to of gained access to my home without my knowledge in order to at the pentagram underneath my bed.

I looked it up though. I was curious and wanted to know what a pentagram underneath my bed meant and after googling it, I realized in most cases it’s a protection spell. This means that someone in my life believes I am in danger or feels some other reason to want to cast a protection spell over me, without my knowledge, and very honestly without me being able to determine why. I can only assume that this is a bias reasoning, since I feel like I’m pretty happy in my life most of the time, and doing pretty well… It must mean somebody in my life feels like I’m not doing what they want me to be doing.

So, how do you figure out who has cast a spell on you, no matter what type of spell it is. This could still be a hex or a curse, but doubtful, was probably just a basic protection spell…and through a little sleuth work I felt like I could determine who this person was. I decided to draw out a map of all the people in my life. And I put each person’s name in a big circle on a poster board. Within each person’s circle, I put down all the reasons or motives as to why they may have felt I needed protection. This included taking note of any motive where someone may have just not felt like I was making the right decision. For example my mother thinks I should date someone else, so she may have cast a protection spell binding me from my partner. This would give her enough reason to want to lie about it, and because she was my mother she would justify it by telling herself she was making the right decision for me since I was unable to do that for myself being I am younger than her. It could’ve been my partner who may be thought I was interested in someone Else (not even true, but people all have their own perceptions). It could’ve been a friend thinking that I was getting in over my head on a project of mine. It could’ve been a number of my coven members or friends trying to protect me from some of spells I cast.

It turns out that there are rather a lot of people who could’ve wanted to cast a protection spell on me. That makes me a pretty lucky person. However, it’s an insinuation that I am unable to protect myself and make the right decisions for myself, so it’s also a little condescending and thus a little insulting. Casting spells and other people without their knowledge is a weird gray area. Sometimes it makes sense to do it other times it can be intrusive. I try to remind myself that this person must love me to have gone through all this effort, as this pentagram literally probably took 2 hours to etch into the ground underneath my bed. This means this person had to be crammed underneath my bed in a highly uncomfortable position, inhaling dust, with very little light or ventilation…trying to do manual labor and cast a spell. I presume this also included a certain level of chanting. Wow. I’m truly flattered.

Anyway in the end I was unable to determine who it is that cast the protection spell using the pentagram under my bed. Whoever it is must have been close enough to me to have access to my room and my house…and also would have been asked if they did it or not. This means that person chose not reveal it to me, lying instead. Furthermore, because I cannot identify their motive, I can only assume that this was an intention that I would not have agreed with.

Needless to say this protection spell has been removed and thoroughly annihilated. But I guess I wanted to say, thank you whoever cast it on me, but also shame on you (LOL)!

Blessed be to all and to all a good day!

A Quick Word About the Pentagram

I have so many people who ask me about the pentagram when they find out I am a Wiccan. They also ask me if I am a witch, if I can cast spells, if I can see the dead or predict the future…so honestly, I can tell there’s a lot of disinformation and under-education in society when it comes to magick, witchcraft, Wicca and spiritualism in general. Most people think that I am the unconventional one, however, Wicca is one of the oldest religions in the world, and magick in general has been widely accepted for thousands of years as real and practical. It is only modern time which has created this viewpoint that Wicca and spell casting is taboo.

So, I wanted to talk about the pentagram, because the most common question I probably get is “Is the pentagram evil?” and “does the pentagram mean you worship the devil?”. The pentagram (also known as the pentacle) is actually pagan, and traces its start in the modern world to 1954. So it is a somewhat new addition to witchcraft. Although not all traditions and sects of Wicca acknowledge, or even use the pentagram, it has been a really useful tool for the ones who do. The most important thing is that the pentagram doesn’t mean the same thing for every Wiccan…and to some it means nothing at all. For me, I have jewelry with it on, as it helps me focus in a balanced perspective. I imagine that each of the five points is a sense, and it reminds me to balance my physical senses like a balance my chakra. I even have a pentagram tattoo. I use the pentagram in my rituals as well. When I do cast a spell, I draw it on the circle floor (wood upstairs in my attic) using chalk and I place a candle at each point and use the points as a way to “extend my senses and physical existence,” allowing me to stretch into the circle, and maximize my spiritual existence.

So really what I am trying to say guys, is that the pentagram has nothing to do with the devil, does not mean devil worship is occurring and most certainly does not signify black magick. It is used every day around the world for positive things and is even most used for protection spells, which are completely white magick.
